Democracy – a word, a notion for
which many freedom fighters lost their lives, many put their lives in risk.
Struggle of hundred years after which we attained our independence and became
republic. Once we became republic, Dr BR Ambedkar formed our constitution and
it bestowed every citizen with some basic living rights. As per the same
constitution, we choose some people, call them leaders, and make them the part
of system for the betterment of society.
The four pillars of the democracy
are the people, leaders, Parliament and the government. People, who chooses
their representative from different parts of country for the impeccable
narration of their concerns. Leaders, who hail from different constituencies
meant to enumerate their area’s concern at the center stage. Parliament,
commonly known as house of people and which has a primary purpose of forming
legislation, perform a root cause analysis for subjects of utmost importance
and discuss issues of national importance. Government – the ruler, the king who
pampers the citizens of the country more than their own child.
The role of each and every party
is very important for the efficient functioning of democracy. However, the
recent event suggests somewhat opposite to what the idealistic scenario states.
The people of country, the seeds of the plants, who decides whom they going to
choose at the various positions in the ladder of the administration. As per
their decision, the future of crop of development depends.
to be continued ....
